The black shovel is an American army folding shovel from the M1967 system (produced in 1969). The green shovel is a Soviet experimental shovel based on the aforementioned model (from the collection of my friend Igor Sarmin, likely produced in the late 1980s).
As can be seen from the small details, the Soviet shovel is based specifically on the M1967 system version, rather than its later development in the ALICE system. This is evidenced by the riveted handle (later ALICE shovels had a bolt connection), the four rivets on the blade (compared to three on the later version), and the shape of its carrying case. Most likely, the samples were simply delivered to the USSR from Vietnam.

Comrades, you are overestimating YouTube translation service.
In YouTube studio for creators it does not translate comments.
In regular YouTube app I don’t get notifications for half of the comments ( because military staff is not welcome on the platform).
So if you want your comment to be answered please write it in English, Russian or Ukrainian.
To a certain extend I also understand Spanish, but consider first 3 for something long.
Please note that besides not answering to the comments in other languages I will also delete them as I am not aware if the text is aligned with the channel policy.

Lately I been watching a lot of videos about the Galil, by very famous, knowledgeable and respected American YouTubers.
And 3 times, in 3 different videos heard one statement: “ Israeli constructors increased the sight radius on Galil, compared to AK, which helped to increase accuracy to meet Western Standards.”
So I want to react:
1) No shit?!!!
2) I don’t have Galil handy, but according to the pictures I highly doubt that sight radius was increased more than one inch.

I recently had a surgery to replace a ligament and stitched up my meniscus, so there won’t be any videos on the channel for the next two or three months.

New combat support kit “Strelok” by Triada TKO ( Kalashnikov Concern) is getting issued to the Russian Armed Forces.
It includes Corset Body Armor Vest, where the supporting element is made of soft body armor (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) war belt, backpack and other modules.
25,000 sets are expected to be delivered to the Armed Forces by the end of the Year.
Looks like Ratnik will be retired in the nearest future and there no longer will be two schools of the military equipment.
And yes it is in Multicam like the latest Russian uniforms and I do have this uniforms so we will discuss it sometime in January.

Hello comrades, what you see a Mabuta Mk2 jacket from the Ukrainian company P1G Tac, in EMR Summer camouflage, manufactured in 2013.
I personally like the camouflage and colors more than the statutory ones.
But unfortunately, the jacket is 3 sizes bigger than me.
