I know this video isn't in my normal style, but I really wanted to share this project as soon as it was working. Would you folks enjoy a video with more details about how this works?

Hey folks! There's a lot more of you around now :D thanks to all the new subscribers that joined recently.
I'm sure some of you have seen I occasionally do demoscene related content, but it's not the main focus of my channel at all. I've just uploaded a video recording of this quick demo that I threw together for a recent event: demozoo.org/productions/334877/
The video is unlisted, but you can watch it via that link. I'm curious what people think of me releasing demo recordings on this channel, so:

How would you react to occasional demo recording uploads?

Hey! If you've seen my latest video demoing my shenanigans with VBA in Microsoft Word, let me know if you'd be interested in a behind the scenes look at why it's difficult to turn a word document into a terminal emulator (and why I made it even harder for myself) that will likely be my next video if there is interest :)

Feels like I've been away for a while. Yikes I've been busy (life kept happening). Anyway, I finally got around to finishing the video for part 3 of solving Advent of Code on the ZX Spectrum. Will upload soon, it's currently rendering. I hope you enjoy it. I also have a fun idea for a story I want to tell in video form, might be a trickier video to make, but if I can do it well then I think its something you'd all find interesting and hopefully quite entertaining too :) Hopefully it doesn't take me more than a month to get that one done, but we'll see.

Anyway, look out for the new vid coming soon!

Wow, I got a couple thousand subscribers in the last month, mostly from my video about the echo command being broken in bash. Welcome everyone! I'm glad you're here. There was lots of questions in the comments below that video, so I've prepared a video that answers most of them, it will be published very soon! (Today or tomorrow I hope.) It has maybe delayed some other things I was working on though, but hopefully more ZX Spectrum AoC stuff will be coming soon, plus other interesting things in a similar style to that bash echo video but on different topics.
See you soon :)

Part 2 is here! I've kinda surprised myself with how quickly I did it. Part 3 will certainly take much longer as I have some important work things that will soak up my time over the next few weeks. But for now, here's days 6, 7, and 8 of Advent of Code on the 48k Spectrum.

I got a few new subscribers from my Bash echo video, welcome to all of you, glad that people enjoyed the video! :) I'm trying something fun on my favourite retro computer, and thought I would make some videos about it. I'm hoping to solve all of Advent of Code 2022 using the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. This video is a little bit rushed, I wanted to get something out while AoC is fresh in people's minds, but I hope to add more interesting animations in future videos in this series. I've solved everything up to day 14 on the spectrum, so I still have some way to go before I know if I can solve all 25 days. Enjoy! :)
