Hello everyone! Happy New Year & February!
If you've seen my YouTube streams after cover premieres, you'll know there was some updates on Hess (my wonderful singing friend, and vocalist for Luka & Till in the English covers) so I wanted to clear up any confusion or questions regarding him before covers that include Till/Luka come out!
Hess ( youtube.com/@HessDesu ) has taken a step back to focus on his health so he won't be reappearing as a featured singer for any Alien Stage English covers moving forward. He did want to make an exception for Blink Gone but I put on Manager Beebo hat and took him off the project because of the health scare :,)
He does have a cameo in Blink Gone, and there is a couple of older covers that I'll upload once I finish the videos that he is present in, so please look forward to that, Hess fans :3c Give him your kind regards and well wishes.
What does that mean?
- I have recruited two different vocalists for any future covers that include Till & Luka. They're a surprise for now!
As a reminder, PLEASE don't reupload, redistribute, or repost any of the Alien Stage English covers that are on my channel to other platforms! I'm happy you like the covers enough to want to share them, but share the YouTube link to the original cover upload instead (RT/Like my posts on Tiktok/Twitter/BlueSky to support the cover team)! I want to make sure any monetization the covers get goes directly to VIVINOS and STUDIO LICO via copyright to support their projects, especially as a fan!

Hey guys! I'm sorry this isn't too positive of a post.
I wanted to address reposts of our Alien Stage covers.
It's come to my attention that people are reposting our Alien Stage covers to other platforms and I was fine with only transformative work (whether you did a remix, or a cover with the lyrics, or used it with an animatic you made yourself with your OCs, etc.), as long as:
- Every single person that made the cover + the original was credited (meaning my team + singers and Studio Lico and Vivinos and their singers + team).
- AND tag me so I can check it out and share it with the team!
- AND the original video cover video is linked back.
- AND the video wasn't commercialized in any capacity. So only personal use. No money was being made off of it.
NOT reposts.
Please ONLY share the original social media posts I've made / link to videos. Below is my original statement about it on Twitter. If you could, I'd appreciate it if you RT'd it around. Please respect the hard work that goes into these projects and don't do this! I want to make sure the team gets that proper love and spotlight.

"I'm really happy to have so many people excited and sharing the Alien Stage English content I've been working on with mork and Hess (and soon to be others!)
But I get so discouraged when I see reposts :(
Reposting is frustrating to me because often times there is hardly ever the proper credits provided.
I personally overcompensate in crediting my cover projects to make sure everyone KNOWS who's singing and who worked on it from vocal / audio treatment gets the spotlight.
These covers wouldn't exist without them and whenever I find a post that barely does any crediting beyond just a link to the cover, it feels like all of the hard work that went in fades away.
There were so many specific individuals that came together to make this.
It feels disingenuous to the people who have worked hard to make it happen and is extremely discouraging to me to make future projects.
If you really want to share a specific thought, please consider just QRT-ing the original tweet or even mention the singers directly.
I know there's already reposts out there, and it's too late to do anything, but if you happen to see this and have seen or even made reposts, all I ask is to give direct credits to the vocalists & team in your posts.
I love seeing and sharing comments and fan reception to them, but it's hard when it's done like this.
I want the team to get the love.
I want them to get the respect and credits directly back from their hard work.

Will you put these on Spotify?
- No, I will not. I never intended to! The covers also don't fulfill the criteria for a "cover" on Spotify. I also wanted to make sure any monetization that was being done would go straight to Studio Lico & VIVINOS to further support Alien Stage as a project. This is the best and easiest way as they're already copyrighted via YouTube.

Will you do CURE?
- Yes! It is in the mixing phase right now and will be sung by Hess and mork. Yes, it sounds amazing. Stay tuned.

Can we use the lyrics for our own covers? Or the audio of the covers for other things?
- As long as proper credit is given (to everyone who worked on the English cover AND Studio Lico & VIVINOS AND it's not being used commercially), then reusing the audio/my adapted lyrics is okay. (So not being used to generate any money whatsoever). Only personal use, please!
If you end up making a cover w/ my lyrics or use the cover audio for something, please link back to the cover / mention me! I'll be sure to check it out and share it with the others! :) (Also easier for me to find you!)

Will you make English covers of all the songs?
- Not necessarily: it depends on the availability of the instrumentals provided and the availability of the vocalists I'm considering. A majority of the songs DO have English adaptations made. CURE, Sweet Dream + Unknown Till the End are in various aspects of audio or visual stage right now. All-In also has lyrics!

Other Notes
- This started as a way for me to show love and appreciation for the project that is Alien Stage. I really enjoy story through song and wasn't able to sing Korean, so this is how I wanted to show my support. At the end of the day, this is a fun project for me and gives me an excuse to ask my friends to sing MORE.
- I don't want to make any money from this. The goals I had for this were to have fun, be able to sing along with the songs in an accessible way, and to sing with friends or showcase them because I really think they're hidden gems.

Regarding the Cover Process / Production
- This is a labor of love, I do pay for these out of my own pocket. This includes mixing, timing/tuning of the vocals, the vocalists themselves, and illustrations should there be any. I don't mind because I want to make sure everyone is compensated to some capacity for their hard work! I don't intend to make any money off of this ever. So, please do support the creators and this wonderful project.
- A lot of people have helped make these covers come to life and are my go to people when I need audio work done. I implore you to support them as well.
