One of the definitions for the verb, Tarry, in my name means "to abide or stay in or at a place." also pronounced "Terry", though neither are my actual name; The name "Terry" means "power of the tribe",

My name also resembles Sentry or Sedentary, both which mean to stay & guard, stay in place, or a soldier stationed to keep guard or to control access to a place.
