For inquiring minds....
Current Hair Regime:

* https://youtu.be/wBpaoGTldVE
— I trim my hair roughly every 6 months
— I blowout my hair roughly every 1-2 months
— Direct heat (flatirons) applied to my hair do not go beyond 400 degrees
— I take 1 multivitamin on most days (as often as I remember to take it 😂)
My lifestyle habits include a healthy diet, heavy water intake, & exercise for a healthy BODY.
(Healthy hair isn’t that cute in a casket)
I don’t take ANY marketing pills/hair vitamins/potions/oils that claim to “grow hair”
— I ENJOY my hair whenever my heart wants to 💙

After My Shape Up Cut!
I didn’t think that I could love my hair more, but I DO!!
The sacrificed inches didn’t go in vain. 😂
Tried a wash-n-go and I have to say that I’m impressed by the product combination.
I’ll have to record it next time.

What’s Up Guys!
Any questions, concerns, tips, or tricks you may have about the Length Retention Challenge, you can post here on this community posting.
I really want us to feel like we’re doing this together.
I may even make a video of certain suggestions/comments.
My Update:
I’ve still been washing my hair every week following my Wash Day Routine 2020.
I also turned my “mini” braids into twists. Twists are just easier/faster to redo for me. I did keep the braids in for a month before switching.
Challenge Duration:
April 1st- July 1st 2020
Stay safe. #AloneTogether. 🤗

Hey guys!
I get asked a lot about my wash routine.
I’ll be posting an updated wash routine in the beginning of 2019, but for now here’s my 2018 TWA wash routine:
*Co-washing everyday with conditioner, followed by a leave-in.
*Deep conditioning weekly
*Using shampoo once a month
*Protein & hot oil treatments once a month
Around 7 months post big chop, I tweaked my routine a bit and started shampooing my hair once a week before I would deep condition my hair to make sure the deep conditioner could properly penetrate my hair strands. (While still co-washing in between washes)
[Of course no heat tools were used during this past year & low manipulation hairstyles were a huge benefit to my length retention as well]
