Mine are from semi 1 Ireland, semi 2 Switzerland and automatic qualifiers the Uk
(1) Can’t believe the Eurovision rehearsals start in 6 days.
(2) starting my new job tomorrow which I can’t wait.
(3) just in case you follow football. My club and home city club Coventry City (I support Coventry City and Liverpool) are in the semi-final of the FA cup. Can’t be more proud and whatever happens, I’m proud.
(4) I’m also starting a new Eurovision series of videos which will start either this upcoming week or week commencing the 29th
I listened to all Eurovision songs again today and for the first time (apart from the Dutch entry as I already knew the translation) I found out all the non English lyrics and DAMN Spain, I was nearly in tears when I found the translation. I kinda knew the story but the words bought me near to tears. She’s my Eurovision 2024 queen and I love the song even more now. ❤️💙 I also found out the Norwegian lyrics and god damn love that song even more now.
Starting a new job in a couple of weeks and I’m gonna try my best to save up to go to next years 70th Eurovision. So please win Croatia. I want an excuse to visit that country.
I can’t stop singing and listening to Polands - The Tower. It is unbelievably catchy.
Over the past week I have listened to all 2024 entries 3 times and I have completely changed my opinion on a few songs.
I’m the type of person who with certain songs have to listen to a few times to love it and that’s what’s happened to 2 of the songs. Neither were in my top 5 but have shot right up.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing my top from semi 1, Thursday semi 2 and on Saturday my top 37.
I felt as a lot of my opinions have changed, I should do another list.
I had the Netherlands quite low in my ranking but my next ranking, it’s going to climb a lot. I’m loving it more and more with each listen. 🇳🇱
My weekly weigh in. Had a bit of a up and down situation with the scales but the scales are in their permanent place so this is the reading I will take whether it’s off by a few pounds. It’s not THAT important. I tried a 2nd pair of scales and it seems to be accurate. Probably because I’m THAT fat it’s not 100% accurate so it’s good enough for me and it’s a loss (I think) 😂 at least 2 pounds.
I was supposed to start my reactions in January and still haven’t started. This is because on my PC. The video is jumpy when I go to record it so going to see whether it can work on my laptop.
I’m starting work on 2 HUGE Eurovision projects for next years 70th anniversary, that’s why I haven’t done much Eurovision videos lately. As I’m currently unemployed, I thought I would start this now while I’ve got more free time.
I shared my top of the songs chosen so far (18 at the time) I haven’t seen Belgium and Poland. Are they good? I don’t really have any winner vibes so far. My fav is Finland but I can’t see the juries placing that very high in the final.
Not going to do a weigh in next week as I will be visiting Liverpool and staying someone I met whilst at Eurovision last year.
