Mentorship is paying someone to believe in you while you are still not 100% sure yourself if this is the PATH you should take...
In other words, you pay a professional or an expert to shorten the road to your desired result.
I had quite a few mentors, coaches, and spent well over 5 figures on some of them.
But lately I was thinking why I get results with some of them and why I didn't get results with others. And the same goes for working with my clients.
And what I’ve come to realise — both with myself and my clients — is that it often has less to do with the strategy, and more to do with what your body believes is safe.
Why do some people follow the exact same strategy and get amazing results, and others get 0?
Is it a lack of alignment between two individuals?
Is it a lack of belief that the strategy is going to work?
Or is it your body NOT being on board with what your soul desires? In other words, you can desire to experience massive change or growth, but if your body doesn't believe that you can handle it yet... You simply won't. And it doesn't matter how hard you work on it.
The last 6 months were a very chaotic time in my life. I had to give up on a new project I just started & invested in, my house sale was massively delayed, having to unexpectedly move, and other things I had to deal with at the same time. Because you know, not just good things happen in 3's. 😊
But that chaos gave me time to go inwards and re-examine myself.
I started noticing how my body is addicted to certain emotions.
And those emotions were creating situations in which I could re-experience the same negative emotions again.
The most interesting thing to witness and understand was that the same negative emotion was ruling my relationships, finances, and health.
That was a huge AHA moment for me.
I understood that situations, circumstances don't matter. I needed to break through/release the negative emotion stuck in my body.
And then everything started shifting.
And it doesn't matter if it's doubt, anxiety, or anger that you are experiencing on repeat.
I know this sounds a bit like Dr. Joe Dispenza's work I am talking about. And it is. He wrote an amazing book on the topic 'Breaking the habitt of being yourself'.
But once you recognize that pattern and catch yourself going through it, you are ready to change it.
And if you do have clients who 'feel stuck', examine their patterns, their beliefs.
Help them understand that it's not their effort, or lack of it is the problem.
What happened last time they tried to make that massive change?
It's a bit like if a man is getting divorced for the 3rd time because of the same reason, the problem isn't the wife. And he definitely doesn't need to meet a new person. Until he changes himself, his marital life will remain the same.

'How could I help my clients better?'
'What do my clients need to hear right now?'
'How could I help them get results faster and easier?'

When a business owner tells me that they HATE selling...
It usually means they are using 'pushy and manipulative sales' tactics.
And they HATE it because those sales tactics don't agree with their values!
Their sales process doesn't agree with their soul's blueprint and WHO they are!
They believe that's the only way to succeed...🤪
They probably got TOO MUCH bad advice.
And listened to 'the wrong gurus'!
Sales don't need to be hard, exhausting, or pushy...
Remember sales is just an energy exchange between two individuals...🚀
Sales is just an educational process that explains WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE to work with you.
Of course, taking into account that you got your marketing right!
As sometimes business owners try to sell too soon...
Just relax...🧘♀️
And take a look at something you enjoyed buying...💫
Was it pushy? 🍀
No, it probably wasn't...😉

On the plane back to Dublin I sat next to an accountant, who happened to be one of the company directors too.
It's a small family business.
The conversation somehow turned into running a business after a small talk about our holidays. 🙈
She complained to me 'Those extra payments for paternity leave! They are doing my head! And then it will take him a few days to get back fully into the work mode...' 🙉
Now, if you are in the HR department you are probably raising your eyebrows, not another one...🧐
But if you are a business owner, you do want an accountant who counts every penny of your business. 🔥
I said to her 'Well, you can't change the law! But why don't you focus on adding an extra 10k to your bottom line and those few hundred euros you spent on paternity employees won't matter!' 🚀
She asked me 'How do I do that?'
And out of a sudden, I find myself performing a mini business assessment on her business while we are flying over the clouds...😂
After identifying 'the holes within her business' as I call it I showed her THREE ways she could increase her revenue..
Most importantly those strategies don't involve spending EXTRA on advertising or doing things she hates.
I could see her eyes lighting up when she was listening to my examples of how this worked for other businesses that I already helped.
Yes, you can grow your business with strategies that align with your soul and strategies that you will love to implement.
You just need to identify 'those holes' within your business first to know which direction to go.
