With that out of the way I have the first 2 videos on my "how to build a pedalboard" series done. But I want to release the entire playlist in one go... And there's still 4 or 5 progressively longer parts to go... So it's going to take a while 😅
There's a few more pedal videos coming anyways. Hoping to finish one before Easter. Aside from that working on a big Voltage Modular bundle drop with R_Ware but that's going to take some time as well (we are up to 16+ modules already 😶).
Basically lots of work and very blurry release schedules at the moment. If there's any topics you'd like to see me discuss drop them down below and I'll see what I can do 👍🏻
So I've been thinking about an idea that gets thrown around by the top creators a lot. It's the "you don't need much to become a YouTuber: a good idea and a phone is all you need" thing.
Honestly I don't believe that's even remotely true anymore. It was 10/13 years ago when YouTube was devoid of any 'influencers' but these days when every topic has several household names making low quality videos basically harms your odds to go anywhere.
So here's a question I'd like to get some input on so I can discuss this in a video:
Is a good idea without production quality still viable on YouTube?

Hey what's up everyone,
I have been fairly inactive recently and I think it's important to post an update.
Last 5-ish weeks my dad's health has been a total rollercoaster. Going anywhere from 'fine' to 'he might not make the next day'. Needless to say this has been very emotionally challenging. Making videos was not something I had the energy for.
At the moment things are stable (for now...) so I'm slowly picking up some stuff.
I already had most of the new TouchDesigner video done but I'm going to reshoot it because I feel like it's too much in one video. I need to limit the length of these videos because everyone's time is precious so I don't want to waste yours.
Aside from that Unfiltered Audio is about to release a new VST. Can't say too much about it yet, but I do want to have a video ready for when it's released (in classic PA fashion that could be 'at any random time').
An unrelated update is that I had to RMA my EHX Pitchfork+. It did this thing where it kept reloading preset 1 at random. I don't feel like this a problem with the product but rather a problem with my specific unit. EHX support was very helpful and responsive, so no complaints. When the new unit comes in I'll test it and make a follow up video.
