Howdy Folks. There's not likely to be a vLog this week. Awaiting some parts to begin the wiring of the bow thruster and the windlass. We should be back up and running the following week. Standby.....

I don't have any footage to produce a normal vLog this week. Mother Nature seems intent on destroying my project. So I've put together some musings on how much it sucks to try to build a boat in the winter in Eastern Ontario. This video will drop on YouTube @06:00 hrs EST on Saturday February 22, 2025. Arriving a day late, Saturday February 18 @15:00 EST, and a dollar short is the next installment of Building SHÉ:KON is my take on some of the silly questions every boatbuilder or restorer gets asked. Howdy folks. I just wanted to apologize for the poor video and audio of the last vLog. I don't know what happened in the editing software but the video of the inserts with me narrating turned out terrible. When I was producing the video it looked and sounded perfectly fine. I'm assuming it's something with the software as it compled the final production. I didn't notice the issue until the vLog was published on Youtube. I've send an inquiry to the software manufacturer to see if they can identify the issue. Not holding out much hope of correcting it so it will live as it is on Youtube. #heartbroken

This week's installment is coming Friday December 6th @10:00 EST. This week I'm making some grab (hand) rails for the boat. Six will go on the main cabin top and two on the forecabin top. White oak. Designed on the Fly.
