1. No prolonged detention without trial.
2. Fair trial. The defendant needs to know what the charge is, have a way to see the plaintiff, have the ability to defend himself, and is allowed to find a lawyer.
3. If there is not enough evidence to make a prosecution, then release, and no one can be detained or imprisoned for "threatening a threat to the society".

5. The rule of law is not about "ruling the people with the law", it's not "there are laws to follow, violations of the law must be investigated"- and this is only a small part of the rule of law.
6. Active non-intervention policy.
7. To maintain the rule of law, stand up and speak up.
8. If the people of a society dare not speak up at all & there is no problem at all, this society is an extremely totalitarian society.
9. A reasonable government should try to balance the interests of all parties and deal with problems.
10. The concept of the rule of law should be rooted in society.
