This Channel is about EMS, Paramedics and E.M.T"S, the good and bad and PTSD. I am a retired 30-year paramedic and EMS Chief. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of inner city, suburbs and way out in the middle of nowhere. From Atlanta to Houston and so far, out gps or maps do not work. I am here to talk about anything prehospital; emergency care, cost, esp. helicopter rides to the hours we work. We work 24 hrs on 48hrs off- some work 48hrs on and 72 hrs and if that wasn't bad enough some work 72 hrs on and 96 hours off. That's a lot of tired people taking care of sick people at just a little bit above minimum wage.
