My apologies to everyone who clicked on the video of ALF and expected something different. The series known as "VHS Mixtapes" has never seemed to catch on. I'm honestly not sure how else I can explain its premise without repeating myself. This series will be on hiatus until I can find a creative way to revive the concept of featuring recordings on blank tapes blending together.

With a new Kids WB video, we end our series on Saturday morning commercials (for now). Summer is over, so it's time for back to school season. Join me in the next few weeks every Saturday for ads marketed towards adults. Then, beginning in late September, we'll have some old school PBS Kids videos. November and December will be crammed full of recordings based around the holidays. It'll be impossible to not catch the spirit of the season.
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed these videos this summer, including my many new subscribers. It's because of your positive feedback that I've been fast tracking future videos in the editing bay! I'm already planning out next summer's weekend lineup of retro recordings! I think you'll be pleased by what I've chosen.

That's all for the FYD videos. Thank you for sticking with me for two weeks. I'm not trying to play favorites. The footage was just too good to not share. Plus, I haven't had many views on videos of their performances in the past. Coming up in the next few weeks, you'll see some more indie musicians in a few vids I'm excited to post. I've completed my goal of adding a video every day for over a year. A year ago, I had a stupid, stupid idea: I was going to publish a new video every day, but only weekdays. Then Saturdays turned into an exception. Then I started posting on Sundays and holidays. I couldn't help but make the whole thing harder on myself. Over the past year, I know haven't gained a whole lot of views in the grand scheme of things, but this channel has really devoured my free time in my determination to meet my goal. At this point, I'm so used to the routine, that I don't see myself slowing down. There will come a day when we'll eventually have several videos each week as opposed to each day. But I'm not sure when that will be, because I've already started on videos for next year!
A note to potential YouTube creators: don't do what I'm doing. There's a reason Logan Paul and Mr. Beast crank out videos on a weekly or annual basis. It's because this platform was designed that way. That's how videos gain traction, because they have time to sit and become popular. You can potentially put out a video every day, but you better have thousands of subs if you do. Only an idiot like myself would put out daily vids with only 10 subscribers. Yet, here we are. Mission accomplished, I guess.

This is it. For the next two weeks, I'll still be uploading shorts, but the longer vids featured are from the wildest show I've ever captured. I'll have a new song from the set each day.
