How according to me Terror Fest Chapter 16 finale moments would go -
A sudden thunderstorm causes a blackout and immediately you (MC) are worried for your Li's (Love interest) safety. You rush upwards with a flashlight and burst in through the bedroom door, only to find your love interest dead on the floor in a pool of their blood..
You both were investigating the killer so it shocks you to your core when you find out the killer is right there. with you. right now. You watch Li's hand clutching a paper which seems to be the name of the killer they wanted to right down before they passed away.
You, in a pool of your own tears take the paper and see what is written on it. Which immediately shocks the living hell out of you when you see the killer's name. Goosebumps all over your body, sweat running down your brow, you look in the mirror.. only for the reflection to be the stabby joe killer IN YOUR OWN OUTFIT smiling back at you..
You drop the sheet of paper and the camera pans to the paper which reads.. "WHY DID YOU KILL EVERYONE?"

BLADES OF LIGHT AND SHADOW BOOK 3 IS RELEASING THIS MONTH ON THE 25TH (25th September 2024). But bad news unlike rest of the other books in the series, this one is a VIP only at release. later releasing for everyone in November.
Sadly this would mean end of the elf route too, cause i don't have a VIP sub on the alternate account. I'll continue the human route with the release.
Also in other news in the choices insider:
- Immortal Desires 3 is releasing in 2025
- Crimes of Passion 3 is releasing in October 2024

PSA: Pixelberry Studios has been acquired by the company known as "Series Entertainment". They plan to use their "world class development technology, the Rho engine" in short an Ai engine to further develop the app more and bring out new features.
This news can be good or bad and it all depends on whether you like Ai or not. Personally i have been pretty neutral about Ai and think the artistic touch really does matter rather than seeing all the same Ai generic faces in a visual novel story; but if they are going to write stories with Ai as well, then i don't know about that one Chief...

CHOICES INSIDERS: The upcoming GOC (gender of choice for MC) books are HEARTS ON FIRE which is a firefighter romance/smut and TERROR FEST which is a slasher book? don't know what that means lmao
Kind of disappointed that the upcoming book GHOST OF US is not GOC.. so far all the horror books we got were gender of choice and multiple Li's.. something tells me this is not horror but leaning more into the "romancing ghost" plot.
Also intrigued with the "world expansion" PB is cooking, maybe we gonna see a proper choices universe which could enable cameos from old books? one can only hope PB does it right. OR it could mean entirely something else.. what do y'all think about the recent insiders?

PSA: Kara loo one of the OG writers for the choices app and the one who was behind the success of The Royal Romance is leaving Pixelberry.
This makes me particularly sad 'cause she's basically the guardian angel for this channel. so long story short someone tried to impersonate her and multiple copyright striked my channel (channel was getting terminated) but i approached kara through twitter and she was so kind enough to help out β€.. I wish the best of luck for her future journey and hope she's well.
Don't know how the future of choices will fare against choosing the story genres and the story quality but let's see..
Also i don't know if y'all remember but when Rules of engagement 3 ended kara and her team worked overtime to put out the 4 part special as the epilogue in JUST ONE WEEK. that was some dedication π«‘
