Samuel, born in France in 2001, is the creator of the indie-folk act Bye Lily, established in 2024. He moved to England in 2016 to further his education and set down roots. His multicultural heritage, with an Indian father who lived in New Zealand and a French mother with German roots, deeply influences his music.
His passion for music emerged early, leading him to start writing songs and playing guitar in 2019. Influences like Bon Iver, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Lana Del Rey shaped his unique sound. Samuel's music combines introspective lyrics with the textured soundscapes of indie-folk.
As a self-taught musician and producer, Samuel prides himself on independently producing and releasing all his music. This autonomy allows him to craft a distinct musical identity that reflects his diverse background. Bye Lily continues to captivate an expanding audience, making a lasting impact on the contemporary music scene.
