Moonshine & Honey emerged from the fusion of two musical forces, the Tossa McCool Band and Mickey Jim's crew, to create a dynamic ensemble rooted in the heart of Sacramento's vibrant music scene. Originally known as the Tossa McCool Band, a recent lineup change saw the addition of Mickey Jim and his bass player, injecting new energy and talent into the group.
Led by the charismatic vocal duo of Mickey Jim and Tossa, Moonshine & Honey deliver a soul-stirring blend of country rock and blues. With Mickey Jim on lead vocals and guitar, Tossa adding her distinctive voice to the mix, Todd Hepler on bass, Noah Penley on rhythm guitar, and Ben Trapp on drums, the band boasts a lineup brimming with musical prowess and passion.
While Moonshine & Honey may be a newly merged entity, its members bring a wealth of experience to the table. Both Mickey Jim and Tossa have released EPs and albums prior to the merge, showcasing their individual talents and songwriting abilities.
