About
Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, KÅRP makes electronic music in the twilight zone of dark club beats and melodic ambient. Lead singer Anna-Maria's voice is in the evocative tradition of fellow Gothenburgians The Knife but even still a truly original force of nature.
The band released the debut Album I in 2019 to critical acclaim and were awarded the prestigious Swedish Manifest Prize for best synth album of the year.
During 2022 KÅRP are releasing a triptych of EP:s all conceptualizing three stages of the apocalypse, two of which have been released already (KRIS, and PERFECT ORDER). The third is due to be released in late 2022.
