Did you check out the vlog I posted yesterday? I created a sand candle station so customers can make their own finished candle in 5 mins! People seem to really be enjoying this idea over on Instagram and Tiktok.

I started a second channel! We are loving the new house and I can't wait to show you all the updates that we plan to tackle. This house will definitely have a quirky wonderland vibe. We have been working on the living room and I can't wait to do that reveal next 😀

Many people nowadays are looking to start their own businesses, and sometimes there is a not so glamorous side to being self-employed. We started looking to buy a house in January, and I have learned that securing a mortgage as a self-employed person can be difficult. I'm pretty sure I picked the worst time since 2008 to buy a house. It's a sellers market, and I am just so drained! Anyway, this is my experience. Fingers crossed that we close next week!

Hey everyone! Last week Texas had the craziest storm, and we were without power for days. I finally was able to edit a new video. After a week of chaos, we finally were able to make it to the studio today to catch up on work. Can you believe it's 55 degrees out now!! Texas weather is so strange...

NEW VIDEO🌟 During the busiest buying season of the year I closed my shop down for a month. I love that I made that decision. It was a great way to clear my mind and really take time with my decisions. In 2020 my business hit 6 figures in revenue. Wow! During my break, I realized that it was time to really take a step back and make some important business decisions. I analyzed areas that needed help, and I found I was struggling to keep everything going by myself. I decided it was time to hire a full time employee. Now, I have so many ideas on how I can grow this business and make it better now that I have consistent help. I wish I had done it sooner!
Also, I asked Instagram for input on how I could talk about my income. I decided I will make a video discussing my income along with the reasoning behind my business decisions in 2020. I was reluctant to talk about income, but I am excited to hopefully help and inspire others with this info! That video will be up soon, but until then you can enjoy my latest vlog documenting what I did over my break!
