WOW — Women of the World is a global movement celebrating women and girls, taking a frank look at the obstacles they face. Festivals take place around the world, including on the International Women's Day weekend in March in London.
WOW was launched by Jude Kelly CBE at Southbank Centre London in 2010. In 2018 Jude founded The WOW Foundation, a UK based charity, to run the festivals and other WOW events across the globe. WOW Festivals are the biggest, most comprehensive and most significant festivals dedicated to presenting work by women and promoting equality for women and girls.
