For anyone who has watched my Rangers of the shadowdeep campaign. I would say I currently show the crunch in the game. Tell you all dice rolls explain terrain features etc. Should I keep them the same or streamline them. Do all the rolls behind the scenes and just tell and show the actions. So for example. Brother Tobias runs upto the Harvester and cleaves it in half. As opposed to my style of showing the rolls for the attack and telling you the modifiers and finally the resulting lost hits etc.

Hi guys. When I was going through my top picks for skirmish games I mentioned 5Parsecs from home as a game I didnt quite get. A subscriber said I should give it a second chance. Anyone know any good lets play/ rules learning while playing videos for the game? Thanks

Havent posted anything in the commnuity for a couple of weeks. What are you guys upto? Currently working on a few terrain projects behind the scenes. Some river sections and a 3 storey Tudor style house. Oh and a few balsa wood carts, which at the moment look more like miniature prams!

Bobby worked as a bounty hunter before answering the kings call for Rangers.
Arnold worked as a towns guard before his family were killed on the borders with Lorenthia. Now he has joined the rangers seeking revenge on those that killed his family.
Lucas came from a far away land and his motivations are a mystery.
Fierce is Bobby's friend and pet lynx.

Was supposed to put a video up tomorrow introducing my crew for the Rangers missions. I have unfortunately had to have dental surgery today. So I will introduce them here.
Brother Tobias was happily living a life of quiet devotion when the Shadowdeep arrived on the kingdoms doorstep. Hearing the kings call for able bodied men, he now serves as a Shadowdeep Ranger.
Sir Daast is a nobleman from the fallen kingdom of Lorenthia. Fleeing his homeland he now seeks to free his kingdom from the grips of the Shadowdeep.
Ralph spent most of his life as a game keeper for a minor nobleman, whos land borders Lorenthia. Seeking to protect his family he joined the Rangers.

An update on the Rangers, myself and my wife will be using in the upcoming campaign. Making them WYSIWYG. I am about 2 days into painting and building and they are looking not too bad. My group need another hour or two to be completed then onto the better halves band. Hopefully get them painted by Friday.
