Hey folks! I'm working on a side project and would love some support. You can find it at @ReadingWikis. And yes there will be some gaming content there. And don't worry, it shouldn't impact this channel. Well, no more than anything else I do...

Hey everyone! With a couple hours until showtime, a sick chicken, and various other hiccups, we're going to have to take a break tonight. But we'll be back next week to continue the show! We'll see you then!

Cody gives a great breakdown of what he’s struggling with and how he’s going to get over it. It wouldn’t hurt any of us to take a look either. watch video on watch page

Hey everyone, I know I've been quiet around here, haven't even gotten shorts up in a while, but I promise the channel isn't gone and I'll be back at it shortly. I'm going to be disconnected for a few days, so I figured I'll just leave it as is instead of posting a video and then disappearing again. So look for new streams and videos starting on the 11th!

Hey folks! So I realized I missed a couple of community posts, and a live stream that I promised, but the hyper focus kicked in and Peanut Gallery didn’t stop me when I started buying stuff to upgrade my recording area. I’m making progress, and will be mostly squared away by this weekend. We’ll still be doing the Wednesday and Thursday streams of course, and recorded videos and paint streams as soon as I get the desk area finished.

Continuing on from last week, I just happened to notice a colleague from work mentioning that this desk was on sale at Costco. Now my current desk, including the Infamously Small Work Table, are just 2x4s put together with screws. And when this came across my feed I figured for that price and that length I could at least take a look. Turns out it should work great for what I need.
So what was an unexpected find of yours that helped you in your gaming setup?

The first Role Playing Game I remember encountering was the Robotech RPG from Palladium Books. The Kevin Long cover grabbed my attention and as a fan of the show I had to have it. I had no idea what it was though. Obviously over the years I know a bit more about role playing, but this cover is still burned in my mind. The colors, the pose, the subject (I love me some big stompy robots), just make this so memorable and brings back great memories.
I've said many times in reviews that to me art is VITAL to an RPG for many reasons. While these are games of imagination, art can help anchor us into the world the game is presenting. So how important is art to you in your RPG? Do you need art? Is text good enough? Let's talk about it!

If you've been noticing the Community posts that have been going live this past week, you'll have seen that I have been asking questions every day about your input on games. If you've been wondering why, it's because I want to try something a bit different this year. I have been trying to start a regular live stream show talking about the things that I cover on this channel. So while the format will not be the exact same every week, tonight will be my first attempt to make Thursday nights a regular night for Topics and Tangents.
For our first outing, I will be covering your comments in my posts for the last week, so if you missed some, make sure you get your comments in and I'll cover them during the stream. For subsequent outings I will be doing interviews, panels on miniatures games, board games, and even role playing. Right now I don't have a specific schedule, just that I want to do it Thursday evenings. So come join us!
So what sorts of topics would you like to see? Comment below and we'll talk about it!

If you're into miniatures, board games, RPGs, or anything in-between, there's something here for you. Being a gamer with ADHD, my interests are all over the place and I'm really excited to share it with you. And while there are tons of channels about the big names in the business such as Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40,000, and Dungeons and Dragons, I try to focus on smaller games and companies that you may not have heard of, but from time to time I'll look at the big names as well. And with thousands of games getting released every year, even those small gems deserve a look.
