This is huge. We’re ONLY T-1 days away from my 31 days of Halloween series.
Full transparency, I’ve only pre-filmed ONE of the costumes so everything you’re seeing in October will be in REAL TIME. Honestly feeling a bit nervous right now because I’m not 100% sure I can pull it off, but I know damn well I’m gonna try my hardest lol. For the past 6 months, I’ve genuinely put my heart and soul into putting together the costumes for this series and I truly hope y’all enjoy each and every one of them 🙇🏻♀️ come join the madness!!! P.S. I’m also moving across the country from LA to NYC in the middle of my Halloween series so this is about to be the most insane month of MY LIFE. Wish me luck HAHAH I only know how to exist in a state of chaos

GUYS I need your help (as usual lol)
~slight~ spoiler with this one, BUT I’m trying to decide whether to do a high or low rise skirt for my Astrid costume. The skull/spike belt in the first pic will be used REGARDLESS but if I end up doing low rise I’ll chop off the bottom part of the belt so the length stays the same (similar length to the second pic)… for some context, I’m NOT a high rise girly in case y’all haven’t noticed LOL. I have a pretty short torso so it’s not super flattering on my body type. However, Astrid’s skirt is high rise, so should I just suck it up and stick with the original? Be honest tyyy 🫶🏻
^^ And for more context, another reason I ask this is because I don’t like my costumes to look too costume-y if that makes sense?? I want them to feel like it’s something the character would actually wear in real life (by texture, shape, etc). This is the main reason I’m back and forth on the first high-rise look tbh

Guys I’m torn. For my 31 days of Halloween series I have ALMOST every single costume finished… except one.
My pirate costume. Arguably my most iconic costume of all time— this one got 80 million views on TikTok AND another 80 millions views on Instagram 😭 Quite literally, INSANE.
So here’s the thing, my original thought was “I HAVE to do another pirate costume this year because it’s my signature aesthetic!” However, I’ve been trying A MILLION different pieces, scrolling Pinterest endlessly, and I’m afraid nothing has been able to top the original. It may be impossible lol.
Now for my dilemma: Do I just scrap this year’s pirate costume all together? Or do I simply reuse last years costume and maybe change a few things up (which y’all know I hate doing lol)??
OR— if anyone has any ideas on how I could possibly top this, PLEASE let me know. This is the ULTIMATE fashion challenge. For once, I am stuck… which is very rare for me HAHA. Curious to hear y’all’s insight! Thanks guys 🫶🏻
