Girls x Heroine series has officially ended.
Where do I begin? What do I even say?
After 6 years, the Girls x Heroine series is ending. I never thought I’d have to say this so soon.
The last episode of RizSta ended today. So abruptly too.
Starting January 8, they will air a RizSta Selection with a new ending song: Lucky Lucky LOVE! (By Lucky2).
I cannot further express my disappointment, my sadness and utter disbelief that this happened. As expected as it was. It’s completely bizarre, considering the new single announcement of Lucky2 earlier.
I have run this page since 2017, since Miracle Tunes airing and they have held a huge part of my heart for all these years. Even writing this right now, I am watching Girls2 Daijoubu Anniversary Live.
I want to pinpoint all the places they went wrong, all the things they could’ve done better, all the things that shouldn’t have happened but frankly, I am just not in the mood to say them all. There’s too much.
So instead, a simple thank you to the staff, the cast and Takashi Miike for creating such a wonderful series that made this, then 17 year old and now nearly 23 year old, feel like a little child again. My merch sit in my room, forever the prize possessions that I’ll remember in the future as a reminder of what I loved so much.
… Merry Christmas I guess?

We had a lot of activity this year. Though I couldn’t have everything into the picture, we know that GxH and GL2 were incredibly busy this year.
From the finale of GaruGaku, the live action series, the introduction of our new Girls x Heroine series “Kirameki Powers”, new group “Lucky2” which ultimately created “GL2 Family”, the Lovepatrina movie, Girls2 first live tour, a ton of collaborations for both groups, even an introduction to our next season of Garugaku “Lucky Stars!”
As well as Ohasuta, Girls2 graduation from the show and the baton pass to Lucky2.
We’ve reached a lot of milestones this year.
And next year? What is already in store?
- GaruGaku 2 “Lucky Stars” will release EVERY WEEK DAY from January 10
- Girls2 First Album Releases January 12
- Girls Revolution 2 will release January 8 every Wednesday and Saturday for 24 episodes!
- Lovepatrina’s Sarai, Miracle Tunes’ Fuka, MagimajoPures’ Shiori and Phantomirage’s Seira will appear on Kirameki Powers!
- The Girls x Heroine’s 5th Anniversary in April!
- Fanmeetings!
- Live Viewings!
