On an isolated island at the far end of the sea band lies the king of lighthouses - Pater Noster. Out here, on the island of Hamneskär, outside Marstrand in Bohuslän, lighthouse keepers lived with their families, on the conditions of the island and the sea, and the lighthouse guided sailors out to sea for more than a hundred years.
After careful renovation, the old lighthouse keeper's residence has been transformed into an international and award-winning hotel, with awards such as World's Best Concept 2021 and Stora Turismpriset 2022. On the island there are nine well-designed rooms with beautiful views and sleeping places for 24 guests. For sailors from near and far, for nature lovers and fun-seekers, for those looking for tranquility or community.
