I've always prided myself on being a 'doer' and making use of every moment I can. The past year or two I've started making time to do nothing. Just sit and exist.

And DAMN! Many times doing nothing at all can be the most productive and peaceful experience of my whole day. There's a lot more to this to unpack at another time...

Daily observation 33:

Our thoughts have as much or as little power as we give them.

Daily observation 30:

One personal strategy I use to face daunting new tasks is setting a 20-minute timer. More often than not, this simple trick propels me into a state of productive flow, and even hours of focused work.

Daily observation 28:

What is it you're actually trying to do?

A lot of times we are so focused on the work that we lose sight of the purpose.

The magic happens with a balance of both.

The masterpieces of today's most accomplished creators, musicians, entrepreneurs, writers, and more were once just leaps of faith, reminding us that it takes time to fully appreciate the true impact of our actions.

Daily observation 24:

Small steps are all that's needed.

If you are capable of taking small steps (in the right direction), soon you'll look back at huge footprints.
