Prasun is a promising vocalist of today’s young generation.He had his initial training from his mother Smt krishna Banerjee,Sri Deepak Roy,Sri Pradip Karmakar.Prasun has been fortunate enough to have some special classes from Padmabhushan Pdt Ajoy Chakraborty Ji.Prasun is pursuing his talim under the guidance of Sri Anol Chatterjee.
Prasun is a National scholar,a regular artist in All India Radio.He was a vocal trainer in ISKCON Bangaluru for 5yrs.He has his own school of music named "Sadaj-pancham".
Prasun had the privilege to share stage with some great maestros like Pdt.Ajoy Chakraborty,Pdt.Rajan-Sajan Mishra,Pdt.Budhhadeb Dasgupta,Pdt.Tanmoy Bose,Pdt.Debashish Bhattacharya,Pdt.Manilal Nag,Smt.Kaushiki Chakraborty Desikan and many others.
