"Musical Kaleidoscope is a very special project that has been over 20 years in the making. It began in the 1990s when my wife, Mary Ellen Bickford, and I began collecting American gospel records to add that genre to our already large collection of recordings from many genres. In 2007, we spent a year digitizing and recording this collection of recordings. During 2017-2022, we created over 1,000 videos, examples of which are on our website. Our goal is to help bring great emotionally and spiritually uplifting music from all genres back to people who are being fed a constant diet of music produced by a dying music industry. Especially, we want to preserve a great musical heritage for the not-yet-born coming generations of children." Don Robertson
