Centre de recherche biomédicale de renommée internationale, l'Institut Pasteur créé en 1887 par Louis Pasteur a pour mission de contribuer à la prévention et à la lutte contre les maladies, en France et dans le monde, par la recherche scientifique et médicale, l'enseignement et des actions de santé publique.
L'Institut Pasteur est au cœur d'un réseau international qui regroupe 33 membres sur les 5 continents. Depuis sa création, 10 chercheurs de l'Institut Pasteur ont reçu le prix Nobel de médecine.
