A new study by Microsoft finds that people using GenAI tools have seen a decline in their critical thinking ability. This aligns quite well with many programmers who have reported the same experience after using code completion tools like "Cursor" and "Co-Pilot." Many people say that AI won't replace people who use it but those who don't use it, but I think, unlike other kinds of automation, AI directly deals with the very thing that makes us intelligent (our brain), and in order to stay smart, we need to train this muscle more than ever. People should not over-rely on AI, as it will make their cognition and critical thinking redundant in the long run. Use AI smartly, only when you need it. Focus on building your skills and training your brain to solve bigger problems, or else you will soon be replaced by someone who does when we find out that the over hyped AGI utopia is not going to happen!

So, I noticed a new bug in Gemini today unfortunately it doesn't know a few things that ChatGPT can easily tell. Watch my recording of the entire thing. This is truly something that will tell you the limitations of these LLMs #ai #chatgpt #gemini #technology

Hey, guys just launched a completed tutorial on javascript document Object model which is one of the most important concepts in web development. Web development in general is all about working with DOM. This is the first part of a 9 hour long tutorial if you want to take this course, go ahead and watch this video. Don't forget to share and leave your feedback.

You will hear such news more often now but the ground reality is such claims are nonsense. Any company claiming to be able to create AGI won't struggle with profitability. Read my thoughts below:

If someone tells you that AI will soon take your job or replace coders, programmers, writers, or designers, they are simply just selling their APIs, and have no idea about the capabilities of the human brain. To put things into perspective, even with access to the vast knowledge available online, LLMs cannot create something truly unique or impactful. Sure, you can use AI to build a simple app, but creating a successful product is a different story. Similarly, you can write a blog post or poetry using AI, but you won't be able to write something solid and impactful unless you understand the art of writing. The same goes for other areas such as design and coding. At most, AI will make you more productive if you know your art. But having a skill isn’t just about predicting the next word or step. Good luck to anyone who thinks they can create something impactful without knowing the art of what they are creating. If your fundamentals are not strong, you are replaceable by AI, and at the same time, you can't derive much from the AI itself. So, you can't do anything you think with AI without knowing what you are actually doing. Companies will continue to push the narrative of AI dominance because their profits depend on selling APIs/product. They’ll hype up AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) with claims that it’s "just around the corner," but this is largely an exaggeration. Even with AGI, which in itself is a hard problem to solve, you can't solve all problems because the hardest problem to solve is to find out how many problems are out there in the universe. But I don't doubt that soon they will start calling LLMs AGI. Such claims severely underestimate the human brain, even that of an average person. It's simply amazing when you realize you are more than just a pattern recognition machine. Recognizing patterns is just a small subset, and that is all. If your fundamentals are strong, nobody can replace you!! Eventually, we may create something resembling the human brain, but it will never be quite the same. This is true of all human inventions. We’ve built flying machines, but they’re nothing like birds. They get the job done but lack the elegance and perfection of nature. Perhaps in the next phase of evolution, we’ll be capable of such things. Until then, your brain remains unmatched to anything. If you don’t understand your craft, you’ll always live in fear of AI taking over your job. On the other hand, if you’ve mastered your craft, the progress of AI should excite you more than anything. Mastery comes from having strong fundamentals, so focus on building them first!

ChatGPT has no intelligence. I tried playing tic tac toe with ChatGPT and afterwards with other models like Claude and Gemini but it seems like their brain hurt when they play tic tac toe. It is the same as a person who has remembered everything but fails when they actually need to put in some thinking. I tried helping the model a lot but it failed miserably. Please watch the entire video here.
