The video I posted today was ready Friday but it felt so vulnerable and uncomfortable I didnāt make it public until today. I ended up adding some clarifying text and then re-uploading Sunday but here it is Monday afternoon and Iām finally making it public. Hereās to healing my internalized ableism and giving myself time to sit with the discomfort in private before hitting post. I hope my video helps someone.

So this is whatās happening in my life. My dogs are both 15+ years old and the potty accidents are significantly ramping up in frequency. I have finally made the decision to diaper them. It feels uncomfortable and odd for all of our family. We havenāt had to deal with diapers since our 17 year old son was in them and there were never tails or fur involved in that operation. Iām feeling sad about it but optimistic.
