New vid is almost done, and this one is a doozy. Hopefully will be released this weekend.

There won't be a Vmail this weekend or likely for the month of August, but I'll be back with those in full force in September.

Intimidated by breadboard ends? Here's an easy and fast way:

scottwalsh.co/pages/breadboard-end-vmail-sign-up

In this week's Vmail, I'll show you how to make proper breadboard ends the fast way, while keeping wood movement at the top of mind for a long lasting and flat table top.

See you there,

Scott

Want to see a sneak preview for my next vid? Do you also hate sanding? Check this out:

In this week's Vmail: I show you how to go from a rough cut thumbnail profile off the router table, to a finish ready edge for fine furniture. This is not something to skimp on - finish prep is absolutely key for a professional result. But it doesn't involve as much sanding as you might think.

See you there,

Scott

Your router table is more than a cup holder:

scottwalsh.co/pages/router-table-cabinet-vmail-sig…

I'm working on more shop storage solutions and the last big thing was to finally get rid of the perpetual cardboard boxes on the floor. This meant outfitting my router table with a plywood cabinet for some future storage.

See You There,

Scooter Von Scottie The 3rd

PS: This also contains a sneak peak at my YouTube video that I will be releasing TOMORROW!

You already own a CNC - even if you don't think you do

➡️ scottwalsh.co/pages/paper-templates-vmail-signup

There's a hidden hero which you already own that can create stunning templates, and it's NOT a $5,000 CNC. Unlock the secret weapon in your toolbox (hint: it uses paper) in my latest weekly Vmail (that's Video Email)!

To make my absence up to you, I recorded a SHOP TOUR! Click this link to get access to it!

No, this is not some spammy scheme I'm up to. I've always want to publish more content, but my high production tendencies and my worry about view counts often stop me.

So I'm starting a video email series... a Vmail series if you will, where I'll send you a weekly vlog-type video about whatever topic I'm feeling, no holds barred, in as much detail as I want to go into, and best of all, no in-video ads or sponsors!

Video is way better than reading a marketing email, so check out the link, and enjoy more free content!

It took me a bit, but I finally have the plans made for the upper wall cabinets for the video released lest weekend!

Check them out here: scottwalsh.co/products/wall-cabinets

These plans aren't just an exploded view of the project. There are detailed, coloured renderings, with lots of notes and descriptions so you can do everything in order, quickly, and without mistakes. All the guesswork has been removed.

MOAR POWER!

Nothing like having all the power you need to run your machines and not have to worry about unplugging and plugging things in, and not having breakers trip!

In case you're missing what's happening, I've been taking a small break from posting on YouTube to renovate my new garage to be my new shop! No, I'm not going to be publishing a video about the process, because, let's be real, framing, insulation, electrical and mini splits are way less fun than building furniture, aaaannd, filming this whole process without any heat in the dead of winter reeaaally doesn't interest me.

But, fear not. I am posting almost daily stories on my instagram about my progress, and I've saved all the stories in a highlight on my profile so you can go back and watch from the beginning:

I've almost finished painting at this point, so I'm in the home stretch. I can't wait to move all my machines in and get back to regularly scheduled programming.
