The I’MMIGRANT project is for and about people who live outside their native country. It uses storytelling as a means to convey the various vicissitudes of life they have gone through during the immigration process and the adaptation time in Canada. All voices, all stories will be heard, even those that earlier sounded only in a small circle of friends or family members. These shared experiences may show that immigrants from different parts of the world carrying different backgrounds have much more in common than they have ever thought, the main one being the strong “inner core” that forms during the adversity time.
