I honestly, and truthfully, never think about how significant a characters death is until I've finished a series or movie. For example, Bruce Yamada from 'The Black Phone'. Everything about him; from his smile to his batting skills... he was my favorite. And how everyone knows, he was killed by the Grabber. I never really thought of his death until I imagined the people I care about being in his place. I know he's fictional... but it gives you a sense of reality.
