Maja Milinković is a Fado and Sevdah singer and songwriter, multi awarded and internationally recognized artist, born in Sarajevo, live in Lisbon, Portugal. Graduated on Music Academy of Sarajevo, plays piano and guitar and works as singer, songwriter and music arranger.
Maja's musical path combines two cultures, Portuguese and Bosnian-Herzegovinian, Fado and Sevdah. Those two cultures, so similar in many ways, meet for the first time on the album "Fado é Sorte" in 2017.
Maja is also known as "Fadolinka" - which became her recognizable musical style.
Thanks to her velvety voice, rare strength and beauty, but before everything the emotion that she transmits, Maja Milinković is considered one of the best vocalists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as evidenced by her numerous awards for interpretation, as well as the flattering name "Bosnian Amália Rodrigues, received from a prominent Portuguese television journalist.
