Dance Fusion is a Calgary based Latin dance performance group. The purpose of the group is to create a safe and healthy space for the expression of community and culture through dance. The group exhibits a unique fusion of Latin American Folklore, Afro-Latino, and Estilo-Urbano styles. Through their art, the group hopes to create bridges between communities within Calgary. Since the group’s creation in 2011, performers have participated in festivals across Alberta. Additionally, they have facilitated classes, encouraging community members to join them.
