Hello and welcome to my channel, my name is Steve Farley and I am an optimistic gardener and Garden Coach, specialising in kitchen/ culinary gardens. It's good to be an optimist as a gardener. Every year we start with a handful of seeds, a few cuttings or small plants, hoping they grow into beautiful flowers or big juicy fruit and veg! I am that optimistic gardener, so join me as an Englishman in my Nova Scotia garden on my optimistic journey through the gardening year, which in Nova Scotia means late Springs, short but humid Summers and up and down but long Winters. I hope to inspire you to get out in the sun (and the rain!), with growing tips, projects both large and small and to feel that thrill of the Optimistic Gardener!
