Hope everyone is enjoying the videos! Just wanted to touch bases on the Ecvt transmission as I alway have comments about it.
It is not the same as a cvt, I just prefer a normal transmission. One of the electric motors is for propulsion and always connected to the wheels and it's connected to the gas via a clutch while the other is connected to the engine primarily as a generator. It is an awesome design that has more in-between tech info but I wanted to give a quick overview.
