Dr. Camp has served in a variety of capacities since entering vocational ministry in 1982, including student pastor, evangelist, church planter, college professor, and Dean of Students. He has been the Sr. Pastor of four growing congregations which include First Baptist Church of Sachse, TX; Metro Church of Garland, TX; First Baptist Church of Mansfield, TX; and most recently, Fellowship of Joy in Grand Prairie, TX.
Dr. Camp holds a Masters of Arts in Theology from Criswell College, graduating SummaCum Laude. In addition, he holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and a Master of Theology Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.In 2007, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, FL. In addition, Scott has done doctoral studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Baylor University and Southern Evangelical Seminary.
Dr. Camp is the author of two best selling books, “A Primer on Power,” which deals with the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit as well as Scott’s personal testimony of how he experienced a fresh infilling of power and “A Primer on Pain,” which focuses on how to overcome life’s painful episodes. More books in the “Primer” series are soon to be released.

Eight years ago I did my first video rebutting Justin Peters. Somebody left a comment that I was just jealous because Justin had tens of thousands of subscribers and I only had a few hundred. I responded that Justin had been doing this a lot longer than I had, and that I would eventually have thousands of subscribers and millions of views. Nobody knew me and I didn't really know what I was doing. I just knew that Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you can have what you say, so I said it by faith. Well I hit 2,000 subscribers four years ago, but I only hit 2 million views in the past week or so. So it took me eight years, but God is faithful. The more you do this the more momentum you generate, so I don't expect it to take so long to get my next 2 million. Thanks to all of you viewers and subscribers for supporting this channel and valuing its content. Together we're having an impact.
