My county was hit pretty badly by Hurricane Helene. I'm putting cleaning bundles together to try to help. I'm so thankful for the help from āŖ@bizzaylady3537⬠āŖ@bigtomsvan4817⬠āŖ@lorijeanfinnila⬠for helping. With fees, $10 covers everything down to the penny.
Bundles contain:
1 Bucket
1 Sponge (or pack)
1 Cleaning concentrate
1 Pair of cleaning gloves
1 Spray bottle
2 Bottles of vinegar
These are going to be a big help to recipients! Many are just now able to get into their homes to really clean. The hurricane arrived here on Sept. 24. About two weeks later we had our first snowfall. We've had severely cold weather, snow and more flooding since. Now that it's warmer people are just now able to do cleaning. Many are having to deal with mold and other cleaning issues. Would you like to help? I'll be doing a special video on this when we give them out. Here's a video of our county mayor. He did a good job describing the situation.

This is our wishlist for Hurricane Helene survivors in my county. We especially need some rechargeable showers, electric/ battery blankets, rebuilding supplies and laundry detergent. We all appreciate anything that you can do. www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/7OZINL27QRAU?ref_=wlā¦
More flooding came a few days ago. They were already impacted but there is virtually no help for the additional damage. The additional flooding isn't covered under the disaster declaration. It's heartbreaking! Some items on the list may be shared with those families unless you designate otherwise. Thank you so very much! Everything helps. š

No livestream tonight. Pretty sure one of my daughters accidentally stepped on a crack and broke their mother's back. I took a tumble on ice and fractured it in a couple of places. No worries! Service Dog Pipsie, my nurse will have me on my feet in no time! I look forward to our stream next week. Until then, be safe and watch for those ice patches!

And the many other individuals, volunteers and organizations who helped make this happen! You are angels in my book!!
You could feel the relief when parents could get a toy. We had tears, hugs and laughter. In addition to the toys, parents could get socks and warm items thanks to you.
A couple of stories will stay with me.
One of the people we helped is living out of the car. Although the person wasn't a child, we helped out with a cell phone charger and extra batteries for a radio and flashlight. This was while the person's mom shopped for toys for younger siblings.
A mom received an electric blanket to keep herself and her son warm. They are in a camper while waiting for home repairs.
A jewelry making kit went to a teen girl. Her mom and I talked briefly about how the kit has everything needed for her to begin making pocket money if she chose. The mom was delighted. She is confident that the teen will love the kit. I wish I could have seen her face when the teen opened her Christmas present!
Thank you all so much. I hope each of you have a Merry Christmas and a good New Year!

Thank you all for your patience. The aftermath of Hurricane Helene has been rough. Progress comes slowly but we are moving forward. Some people are still in tents or cars. We're doing everything possible to help. These are photos of our early damage and our mobile post office. Things have been improved but there's still a long way to go. Please keep us in your prayers.

We didn't win a Reelie but I'm okay. This video is why I think my service dog is still a winner. youtube.com/live/82TBLZj0WA8

I'm going to be home for a couple of weeks working on the van and doing some home decor. Some of the upcoming videos will be about some of the products. Don't worry though. I won't be staying home for long. Lol In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the videos! First up is this this cute candle warming lamp!
