40000 Subscribers!!

Thank you everyone for the support! A few days ago, I summited the highest mountain in Malawi ( Sipitwa 3002m, part of Mt Mulanji ) as Iā€™m currently away by 40 day work recce expedition to Malawi & Tanzania, once I got down I found out I had hit 40K subscribers on the YouTube channel!

The channel is getting bigger and bigger and itā€™s allowing me to facilitate more and more things! Once again we all go for an Arctic trip ( still in Yeti ) and next year, hopefully building a MAN TGE 4WD LWB for a whole new technical build series

The future! NEW VAN

those who have watched the final video of Arctic series round three know that Iā€™ve got plans for a new van and new adventure.

Iā€™m looking at going very new or even new. Whilst I was really very sure about the AWD transit. Over the last few weeks Iā€™ve been doing a lot more research and I am seriously considering the MAN TGE 4WD with automatic gearbox. Again a medium wheelbase.

This will lead into a new technical van build series with a goal in mind! Whilst Arctic adventures will definitely be in the future there will be some new extreme locations as well.

Iā€™m keen to hear the communities input?

Obviously, this will be an overland looking build, much like Yeti.

In other news, Yeti will be up for sale in a few months ( after I have a new van ) if anyone is interested.

IM BACK!

Apologies For lack of videos and replying to comments over the last few weeks as Iā€™ve been away leading an expedition for work for 25 days in the Indian Himalaya.

Enjoyable trip but hard work. 5 day high Altitude trek up to 4900M in the area of Kaza & Spiti valley, with a few group medical bits to deal with. Got myself a bold and fun new hair on the street on Manali, some wonderful sights from high Altitude monasteries to the Taj Mahal. And even found ourselves in the middle of a natural disaster which unfortunately resulted in the lives of a number of local people with many still missing and plenty of infrastructure damage, as rivers overflowed and literally washed on the road away in front of us.

Channel wise.

Imminently, I will get out one of my collaboration videos which is sitting in the video bank ( got to keep the algorithm happy ), Ill finally finish off the last episode of the very late Arctic series round three. After that, it will be a number of collaborations video until the new van arrives!

If you want to see some in-depth aspects of the Himalayan trip pop over to the Instagram and look at the highlight reel.

Update

Currently in the India Himalaya in the Spiti Valley leading a 25 days expedition for work. Currently around 4000m and that Ki monastery in the back ground.

Currently had one video released whilst away and the next arctic video should be releasing very soon. hopefully at the right time this time and then another collaboration queued up which should keep the channel going until I get back from this trip.

This type of work I do isnā€™t documented on YouTube as recording and filming subtract from my actual job of guiding but you can often follow the adventures on the Instagram on the stories

Bit of a scheduling mess up on todayā€™s video unfortunately it went live at 5 am UK time and not 5 pm!

Mainly as Iā€™m currently away in Delhi leading an expedition for work to the Indian Himalaya and got my times messed up.

While Iā€™m away, Iā€™ve got two collaboration videos and one Arctic video set to be released so there is definitely videos for you!, although one unfortunately came out at the wrong time!

Video plans for the next few weeks.

Sundays/Mondays will be the Arctic series and thereā€™s still probably around six or seven episodes left to edit.

Midweek videos will be collaboration or technical video of which Iā€™ve a few coming up, which should be a variety of new tools, a surround CCTV camera system for the van and more. particularly as the collaboration videos at the moment are making a rather large step in the right financial direction for my new van build coming up ( which has some very exciting design and build ideas going into it )

The legend, which is Adz ā€Ŗ@Adzā€¬ has released another Arctic video, and it was a pleasure to join him for the majority of it. Excellent to watch other channels enjoy the Arctic and see their experience through their own eyes!

A few weeks time, my video from around the same time will be out.

Our videos have a little bit of different release schedules so his videos are a few weeks further forward than mine

Whilst I may have been unable to get an arctic season three edit out this Sunday. My friend Adz has just released a video which I feature in. His editing release schedule is a little bit ahead of mine, so youā€™ll see my perspective of the same events in a few weeks time.

Apologies, no normal Arctic season three video this Sunday with the 2 1/2 thousand mile drive back to the UK for my friends wedding unsurprisingly. Iā€™ve been very busy and unable to get a video edited of which there are at least another ten to do for this arctic season.

However, I do have a collaboration video for this Sunday ( 17/3/24 ) I had filmed in the Arctic (will show a few bits from later on in the Arctic season) which is an important video on funding the channel.

There are worse places to be broken down. Almost we week since the issues started. with a knackered Alternator clutch pulley, but the Alternator is fixed now and just waiting on a new aux water pump which I broke removing that Alternator... Then I can get moving again.

Camp Ripan, Kiruna, Sweden is be great place to hang around. allowing me to catch up on some much-needed video editing with EP5 to EP7, import footage to up to EP14.
