Welcome! The SFCPA is the "Center" for music education and performance in the area of drums and percussion for South Florida.
The Center’s primary mission is to create new and enhance existing opportunities to enjoy music through percussion. It will accomplish this through a variety of interconnected services – assisting school music programs to improve quality, complementing and augmenting those programs by offering classes and ensembles not commonly available in a school environment, and hosting workshops, special events, and performances. In addition, it will meet a common challenge of studying percussion: having convenient access to literature, equipment, and rehearsal space.
