So I've been thinking of making a "Why did Skyblock Timelapses work?" video commenting about the decisions behind how these videos were made. I have some ideas in my head on why it worked well, but I'm curious what you think! Why did you enjoy them?
I'm not dead! (remember me, that minecraft timelapse guy?)
Anyway, life has been happening a lot with me, but I've finally gotten back to doing random electronics nonsense. Do you think it would be a bad idea to upload a #shorts video featuring this kind of stuff? Below is a still frame from the video.
I hope you all have been doing well, till next time! (when I post in another year, who knows).
Gotta say that it's a good thing I don't really care about view numbers. I bet a lot of youtubers would feel down about having 137k subscribers and getting less than 400 views on a video that took a few weeks of work to produce. Keeping this as a fun side hobby and not as my main 'thing' is the only way I can keep my sanity and my drive to continue making videos.
Updated my ancient channel banner with something a bit more 'minimalist' compared to my early-2000's neon obsession. This doesn't really say much about the channel other than '''drones''', but hey, I'm not sure what this channel is about, either. Eventually I'll dark-mode it and color it the correct shade of green, but for now, enjoy this sketch by @uzumikou over on twitter (where I also still do things as @lazerlord10)
I've nearly completed the hardware on this DDR pad project, and *should* be making a guide/build video in a month or so. But I want to finish the documentation before shooting video.
So go watch me step on buttons on my second channel.
I'm finally using my computer for its intended purpose. It's only been 3 years since I started this video, lol. Rendering it out in 4k and it's only taking about 2 minutes to render per minute of video! Video *should* be published tomorrow. All I need is a once-over of the render and then a juicy thumbnail.
I feel like this message from @MedlifeCrisis is important to listen to. This message gives a very good perspective and level-headed explanation as to what racism looks like if you take a closer analysis of current systems.
It has been over 600 days since my last video... that's a long time and a lot has happened in that amount of time. Many good things have happened in that time, but it hasn't involved YouTube. Just know that I haven't given up on YouTube and never will! To commemorate maybe starting again at some point probably, I worked with a friend and made a new logo/mascot that will be applied across all of my official platforms once I release a new video.
BTW, I have a second channel named Lazerlord20 where I might livestream random games at random times.
Hey, I'm still not dead! You probably even forgot that you were subscribed. I'm trying to work on a new video, but IRL projects and general busyness don't allow for much editing free time. In the meantime, have a test print from a new 3d printer I bought (quarter for scale). I'll probably make a video about it, eventually...
If you want more not-dead updates, I have a Twitter @ lazerlord10 where I post random things like this slightly more frequently. Have a nice weekend!
I've made Minecraft timelapses in the past, and that's what most people have seen, but I do much more than that! Expect randommly uploaded videos about 3d printing, drones, electronics, DIY, and anything else that interests me.
