I've had a stinker or a fortnight

You know that saying when life gives you lemons... "Make lemonade"

Well, I've been given lemons and realised the lemons are out of date.
โ€‹
Imagine getting lemons that look amazing on the outside and when you open and squeeze them the inside is all rotten and mouldy.

The disappointment.
โ€‹
That is how life has felt these past 2 weeks - shite.

โ€‹

But that's life.

See I've had some personal stuff happen (might discuss in the future)
โ€‹

โ€‹
And when life's going so well it's a kick in the nuts.

โ€‹

But we move.
โ€‹
Life is a constant lesson and without the bad, the good will never feel good.

โ€‹

Imagine a life where there was no bad, hardship and struggle.

Life would be very boring.

โ€‹

Winning just wouldn't feel as good.

โ€‹

It's the same with fat loss IMO.

โ€‹

You CAN go and get liposuction, bum fillers and tummy tucks.

โ€‹

But you are still unhealthy.

โ€‹

You haven't had to work for this look.

โ€‹

Fake news mate.

โ€‹

Instead, showing up "most" days to eat, sleep, move and life better - is HARD.

Harder than what most are comfortable with doing.

โ€‹

That's why so many are overweight.

Its harsh but truth.

โ€‹

in 2024 there are 2 things stopping people from becoming fitter, healthier and more toned...

โ€‹

1 = Laziness - People CBA. I truly believe most are because of point 2.

2 = Knowledge - People don't realise what's right for them anymore.
They don't realise how to fit it into their busy lives.

They don't know what to eat for them and the family

They don't know what exercise will work for them.

They are missing this.

โ€‹

My job is to educate people to understand these concepts (I fix point 2) โ€‹
โ€‹
So point 1 becomes SOOO much easier.

โ€‹

So if you need help fixing point 2

I'm your man.

Jake

P.s. I had all good intentions of smashing it this morning.

I was up at 5am - felt tired.

Sat on the sofa looking at the coffee I just made until 6:45.

Did nothing productive.

If I drank the coffee I would have done something but I CBA to even drink the coffee at the time.

Then with each minute, I was getting more annoyed for not doing work ๐Ÿ˜‚

โ€‹
Anyway, not every day is going to work for you.

Some days are shite.

Thats life.

If I only had 30 days to lose 1 stone here is a breakdown of what I would do

If you have a wedding in 30 days your dress is feeling tight
You're stressing out.
Give these (5) strategies a go.

1, I would increase the amount of lean meats and fish I ate.
(More protein to maintain muscle mass and fill you while you go into a large deficit)
Reducing carbs is the controversial topic we will talk about at point 5
But first

2, I would switch my training up by increasing the amount of cardio I do to each week
(add 60 minutes on top of what you are already doing)
Make sure you are lifting as heavy as possible in your workouts to maintain muscle.
if you feel more fatigued drop the sets down to 2 sets instead of three.

3, I would increase my vegetables/salad to bulk out meals and help fill you up.

4, Fast for breakfast and eat your first meal as an early lunch
To help feel fuller in the shorter eating window.

5, Carbs - I would aim to eat as little as possible.
If you werenโ€™t desperate to lose weight for this event in 30 days I would suggest keeping them in your diet.
But carbs make you retain water so reducing them will reduce weight.

This doesnโ€™t mean you are losing fat thoughโ€ฆ

The amount of fat you lose will be in line with the calorie deficit we are making not the reduced carbs.

So...
Keeping your diet based around meat and vegetables will help give you the goodness and fullness from food.
Fasting will restrict you from eating breakfast & carbs will help drop water weight.

So are naturally going to fall into a calorie deficit eating this way.

Because you will reduce all processed food from your diet, reduce your eating window and drop water from carbs

Then training heavy but fewer sets will maintain muscle mass
And cardio will increase the calorie gap.

I'm sure most people will drop 1+ stone this way in a month.
BUT it's not sustainable long-term as it's too far away from your current diet.

I've shown you above step by step how to drop a stone in an unsustainable way for a wedding..
What If I show you a step-by-step proven process that has helped hundreds of people lose weight predictably and keep it off.

We do this should lifestyle changes, nutrition tricks and ultimately shifting the person's identity around health and fitness.

This is my ๐Ÿฅ– and ๐Ÿงˆ
The thing I've obsessed over the past 11 years!

If you want to learn this proven method

Did Usain Bolt really eat chicken nuggets before running in the Olympics?
_

โ€œUsain Bolt broke three world records in the 100m, 200m and 100m relay on his way to a historic triple gold that year โ€“ all fuelled by McDonaldโ€™s.โ€

Yes, it's true - he was averaging 100 nuggets a day. (1000+ over the Olympics)

Why am I telling you this?

Because the guy is a world record holder, Olympian in great shape and eats McDonald's.

And the general population (maybe you) demonise it saying it is โ€œbad junk foodโ€

Here's my opinion

โ€œIt's foodโ€
โ€‹

And all food is fuel at the end of the day.

โ€‹
Your body will absorb it and use the nutrients it has.

It won't be fussy about what restaurant brand it is it sees it as protein, fat and carbs.

Honestly, this is how we should all look at foodโ€ฆ Fuel.
โ€‹

If you focus on the calories, protein, carbs and fat solely as step 1
โ€‹

You will get life-changing results.

If you wanted to think more about the longevity of life and to โ€œFEELโ€ your best

You might want to focus on how that food is made and the processes it went through.

That's step 2.

But really to get the desired results you need to optimise step 1.

(I'm pretty sure 90% of people who did step 1 effectively would never need to do step 2.

Because they would look incredible and feel the best they have felt.

Anyway, if you haven't cracked step 1 yet let me personalise your approach

Your targets

Your nutrition

Your training/ movement approach

Your routine to help fit it in.
