I am making a video on the transition from bow to late non-torsion artillery at the time of Dionysius I of Syracuse but it is taking too long so here is an update: A Mountain Gastraphetes modeled after schematics of Marsden based on Biton's work describing Zopyrus of Tarentum mountain gastraphetes. Blender is an amazing tool but at this point I am not even sure if my PC can even render a proper short video of the model in action.
