I have been a practicing physician for over 25 years and the one thing I know for sure is, how we think and feel about ourselves often times are inextricably linked to our health and well-being. If we truly start loving and accepting ourselves where we are now, then we can identify what we need to nourish, support, and heal. We all have goals, desires, and purposes and there is no one formula that fits everyone.
I want to redefine what it means to be healthy because everyone’s health journey is unique. So, let’s learn about the power of foods to heal and, of movement to soothe the mind and rejuvenate the body and soul. Let’s truly acknowledge that our mental health is not separate from our physical health. Let’s understand that our environment, from the air we breathe to the people in our circle, can be a big part of our health journey
