Over the past month, our family has been dealing with some difficult things that have knocked the breath out of us.
This past week, my precious father, the Pixies grandfather, fell and, as a result, walked into the arms of Jesus.
There are no words to discribe how deep this wound is...
He was so loved by his daughters, son in laws, grandchildren, sisters, nephews, and friends.
We are devastated right now and are spending time as a family to get through each moment.
My Dad adored the Pixies and loved that we were making our videos so he could watch and be part of their growing, as he lived in a different state.
We will be back... but we just need this moment to heal.
If you are so inclined, our family could use prayer as we go through this dark place.
Thank you so much for understanding and being here in the first place...

Christmas Eve has finally arrived, and the rush is on to complete the wrapping, the baking, and all the little preparations for the big day... so much still to do!
But even in the midst of all the crazy , being together is the most precious gift of all!

A Pixilated flash back from a few years ago, with the Golden Pixie, in regard to her search for the truth about unicorns....😊
(I have written so many of these incidences down for the Pixies, so that
Hopefully, someday, they will create a record for them to look back on if they ever struggle to remember who they are ....because life.
There will be these little moments that will be a reminder of their true selves... and just how much they are loved. 🦄💜)
Have you happened across a unicorn horn?
Asking for a golden haired Pixie friend, who is concerned we may not be putting in enough effort to uncover the truth about the elusive fanciful horses.
"After all," she informed me thoughtfully as one of us attempted to shop for groceries, "we have dug bones of dinosaurs out of the dirt....but not a unicorn horn."
" I think," she continued. "That they were real, but now they are S'tict!"
I agreed absently while trying to find a checkout lane.
"Yes, they are S'tinct like the dinosaurs, but no one has found their horns!"
There was a definite level of indignation in her tone, as a kind customer service cashier motioned us over to her empty register.
The concerned pixie perched herself on the bottom rail of the cart so her eyes could see over the tall counter, behind which stands the unsuspecting cashier.
"Excuse me." Injects the Pixie paleontologist. "Do you think unicorns are real?"
The Cashier countered with a smooth, "What do you think?"
As if this was a question that occurred daily for her.
"I think so...." The Pixie replied, balancing on tip toes to peer above the counter.
"I do too!" Agreed the cashier cheerfully.
"Hmmmm..." The drawn-out hum was accompanied by a furrowed brow.
"Now, I'm rethinking my position." Says the clearly undecided, and "I will not be placated" Pixie.
"Maybe they are extinct." Tries the innocent cashier.
The Pixie pulls herself up to give the cashier a hard stare. "Why would they stink? Unicorns don't stink..."
The startled cashier responds under the unnerving stare, emminating from two clear blue eyes and a tuft of fluffy golden hair, perched across the counter from her.
"Well, horses stink...." she says with a little giggle.
I hold back laughter, at the look of incredulity which washes over the Pixies face. It has become obvious to her that the cashier has little to no understanding of the finer points regarding unicorns.
"Unicorns do not eat hay like horses, so they don't stink." She corrects firmly, but kindly, as she's realized she's dealing with a novice.
"What do they eat?" I jump enthusiastically down the rabbit hole of conversation."Cake?"
"That would be ridiculous!" The pixie laughs.
"Who's going to bake a cake and leave it outside for the unicorns."
It occurs to us all, at this juncture, that the unicorns are probably s'tict because they didn't know what to eat.....and no one left out the cake.
So, if you have found a unicorn horn or run across one while planting your azaleas....please let us know.
It's an important component in this pixie research study on the truth about unicorns...
(Also, should you feel like baking a cake and leaving it outside, just in case....well, you just never know.)

Which fruit do you associate more with Autumn? Both Pumpkins and apples are traditionally in abundance in Autumn with their rich and whimsical colors and shapes... choosing a favorite between the two may be difficult! (Meanwhile, the baby cat thinks we've lost our minds!) 😆🎃🍎🍏🎃
