Hey all!
It's that time of year where I begin filming and editing waaaay in advance so that I can spend my three weeks cross country with my family at christmas actually enjoying being with family and not filming videos! There's also a bunch of new subscribers here since the last time that I posted so I thought it was a good time to ask for video suggestions as well.
THis channel exists because I grew tired of seeing a lot of nonsense videos with titles like "FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT THEORY" "5 HACKS TO SHRED ON GUITAR" and I wanted to provide real, valuable information without a bunch of click bait nonsense.
I'm now coming to you fine subscribers and asking if there's any topics you would like to see me cover in future videos? I'm open to any and all suggestions and I hope to hear from you in the comments below!

I've been feeling like it's time for a change and I wanted to try and do some good while I'm at it. 4 years ago my Dad received the news that he had prostate cancer. He luckily caught it early and is now three years cancer free. He and my family are SO lucky! Thousands of families every year are not so lucky. In honour of my Dad and everyone who has battled cancer I'm fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society's research into prostate cancer.
In addition to this, I'm donating my hair to Hair Donation Ottawa which uses the hair to make wigs for cancer patients at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. If you have the means and wish to support the cause you can donate here: https://youtu.be/KUj-zNdicbw

Hello wonderful subscribers!
I will be making a trip across the country in early July to attend one of my best friend's weddings and see family which means I need to buckle down in the office and build up a backlog of videos so that I can keep up my 2 video a week schedule while I'm away and not filming.
If you have any videos you would like to see or topics you would like to see covered, please let me know here in the comments! I got a nice push from the algorithm earlier in the month so there's a lot of new faces here that I would love to hear from. Please let me know if there's something you'd like to see!

Seeing as there's another thousand or so subscribers since the last time I posted a question like this I just wanted to reach out and see if there were any topics you'd like to see me talk about in future lessons! I keep a running list of 30 video ideas going at all times but if there's something you'd like to see please speak up and I'll see what I can do!

Hello wonderful community!
I just wanted to share that I have launched a Patreon page (patreon.com/MattFranceschini) for any who may feel inclined to support me and my lessons here!
I will of course continue to upload 2-3 videos a week and this is simply for those who wish to help me justify the hours of filming, editing etc etc that goes into these lessons! Patrons will get early access to all of my videos as well as sneak peak updates at recording sessions, projects I'm working on etc.
Of course this is completely optional and I'm grateful even to have people viewing my videos, this is just out there for anyone who wishes to support me!

Happy New Year to all!
Thank you for an incredible 2023 and for being a part of this growing community of guitar players! This year I finally got real with myself and committed to uploading regularly and within 7 months thanks to all of your support I managed to reach monetization on this wonderful platform. It has been an insane learning curve working to balance this side of things while maintaining my performing career, my teaching and also remembering to eat food and sleep sometimes.
I'm enjoying my last day of holidays on the west coast before I fly back home to Montreal and I'm excited to get back to work on creating more lessons and content for this channel. I have big plans for 2024 including two video courses, another instructional book and tons more videos.
With all of that said, I wanted to reach out to you again and ask if there are any topics that you would like to see covered in future videos? I'm always trying to come up with lesson topics and if you're struggling with it I'm sure there are many others out there struggling with it as well! Please let me know if you have any suggestions in the comments here!

Do you have any topics you'd like to see explored in a future video?
Hey all,
It's been a fun journey since May when I finally started taking this youtube channel seriously and started uploading regularly and I'm so grateful to everyone who has liked and subscribed thus far! I'm currently ramping up my video schedule in preparation for a trip back home over the holidays so that I can build up a bank of videos to get me through that period so that I can prioritize time with family rather than filming and editing videos.
With myself building this catalog of work I thought it would be a good idea to pitch it to you fine folks and see if there were any topics you would like to see covered in a future video! If you have anything that you're struggling to play or understand I would love to hear about it in the comments on this post and I give you my word that I will do my best to address it in a video in the coming months!
