Friday Night At The Fox! Join me at the Mighty Wurlitzer for this week’s Friday Night Is Organ Music Night, featuring the latest theatre organ sample set from Melotone Sound Productions. This set recreates the stunning sounds of the legendary FOX Theater Wurlitzers, 4-manual 36-rank organs installed in some of the finest movie palaces across the US.
Famous for their awe-inspiring sound in the cathedral-like acoustics of their original homes, these organs were the finest made by the Wurlitzer company. We are incredibly fortunate to have the sound of these organs at our fingertips thanks to the power of Hauptwerk and the team at Melotone Sound Productions.

WORLD PREMIERE! Tonight, a new CATHEDRAL ORGAN is being released for Hauptwerk - guess what - I get to be the first to present this stunning sample set to the world! Ivan Barritt, of Barritt Audio, was kind enough to ask ask me to do the honours. This amazing instrument, a 54-stop Harrison & Harrison organ is form St Davids Cathedral, from the city of St Davids in Wales, UK (the country’s smallest city!)
