What a weekend! For the first time, I experienced the chaos that is the corner of Surf and Stillwell on July 4th. Joey "Jaws" Chestnut took the crown with Geof Esper and freshman eater James Webb rounding out the top three. I placed 13th with only 27 HDBs falling well short of the 34 I managed in practice. It was a hard day and the dogs were "slow," as they sometimes say. I still have lots to learn and room for improvement. Major League Eating and Nathan's haven't seen the last of me!

I need your help! For the next few weeks I will be raising money for St. Jude Children's and Research hospital. Any support you can give would be awesome. Donations can be given through this link:
heroes.stjude.org/stevetherabbit
If you've ever wanted to support this channel, I'd ask that you take that money and help St. Jude in their mission to eliminate childhood cancer.

Want to win a $5 Amazon gift card!? Read on!

Holiday pies are great! But, the same old three, apple, pumpkin, and pecan, can get boring.

Do you have a unique take on a classic? Maybe a pumpkin-cheesecake!
Does your family gather around something completely different? Mincemeat pie!?
Or maybe it's a secret that makes your pies just that much better! You haven't had the best until you've had chopped walnuts in your apple pie!

I want to hear from you. What unique pie makes your holidays awesome? Send your recipes to me at Steve.The.Rabbit.Eats@gmail.com. If it's creative enough, it may be featured in a holiday video, with the best of the best winning a gift card for Amazon.

Not sure about the exact recipe? Just send a detailed description and I'll use my hot baking skills to make the best interpretation I can!

Thanks to everyone who made submissions for the last challenge! Just throwing together a pile of random food is fine and all, but it's much more fun to get you guys involved.

Lots of great things will be coming in 2020!

WIN A FREE $5 AMAZON GIFT CARD!

Did I catch your attention? Great! So, how do you win a gift card? It's simple: Send instructions for how to create a PB&J sandwich to steve.the.rabbit.eats@gmail.com. It may sound simple, but it's a lot more difficult than it first appear. I will attempt to follow your instructions completely literally as written and see how it turns out. The first person to send instructions that results in an edible PB&J sandwich wins! Good luck!

I propose a challenge. But I will need your help. On the surface, it sounds deceptively simple. The challenge is... to make a PB&J sandwich. That's it. That's all. Now here is where you come in. I want to make a PB&J according to your specifications. This isn't a contest for the tastiest sandwiches, or the more creative, or the most outlandish, just a normal sandwich. Now, here is the challenge: I will make a PB&J sandwich following you instructions PRECISELY, WITHOUT NUANCE OR INTERPRETATION. I will do everything COMPLETELY LITERALLY. Whoever sends in the best instructions wins!

How do you participate? It's easy! Just send your instruction to steve.the.rabbit.eats@gmail.com with "PB&J" in the subject line.
