Hi!
Now that Tiktok is gone, I feel the need to make the changes needed to this channel. So any followers on that platform know the proper place to go.
To keep it short, this channel is going back to Project CD. My other project, "Her Kiss is So Last Season" is still my top priority but it's getting it's own channel: youtube.com/@GD_STUDIOS1
I know a lot of you prefer Project CD, and I regret taking it away instead of letting my other project garner it's own audience. But consider supporting that project as supporting it indirectly helps Project CD.
I wanted to show the progress I've made in the time I've been gone. A lot of the improvement was made possible due to your critique but I needed the time to make bigger strides without having to worry about posting.
Anyway, it's been a year since my "What I've learned from Bad Character Design" as I posted it in late 2023. And this is the progress I've made. Really not bad at all for a year.
Thanks for your involvement in the process of these characters and expect a video soon :)
They have new names but I'll get to that in said video.
P.S The lore has changed significantly and I have a document that leads you through the first meeting of the two main characters and the lore in a descriptive way. Like a book. I could link that if you're interested. Or maybe, you'd rather I just explain it in a future video.
Either way, let me know which you prefer.
Also, they're 16 and 14 in these concepts. I'm not sure if the art reflects that. As always, I'm still learning. But please keep that in mind. They meet at 15 and 14. I simply haven't designed "Micah's" 15 year old self.

There was supposed to be a video up on the 17th but my mic is at college. I left it there because I didn't expect the extreme weather and I didn't think I'd be off campus for this long. I'll get this next video out as soon as possible

Thanks for all the support on my character design video! I got a lot of critiques most of which were very harsh but ultimately I'm grateful for it because I feel like I got a better result out of it.
After this upcoming video (which will be a little delayed) I'll give some tips on how to take feedback on your character designs. There's more to it than just being open-minded and listening and I'm excited to share what I learned. I hope you all had a good holiday

The LPS Popular Webseries is still in the early stages of development. But, as I've worked on the outline and put many of my own experiences as a girl in high school into it, I've grown very attached to the story. I want to elevate how I approach this project and take it as far as it can go. I'm planning the very first update video on the project. There will be a Q&A section to answer any questions you may have about the series!
Note: I will NOT be answering any questions that require me to spoil the story. Please try not to ask questions that center too much around the new plot.

Just letting you guys know that there won't be a video next week. I'm sending my computer in for repair and moving back into my dorm. Once I'm settled in, I'll be back. Hopefully, all goes well and my computer has a safe journey there and back 🤞
