We hit that mark last week but as you all know, we havenāt been short on news lately so Iām just getting around to posting this.
I just want to thank you all for following along every weekend. I donāt do this for numbers, notoriety, or money, I do this because I love giving NASCAR fans a backstage pass. I love bringing you all the story. I love chasing the story.
Iām so blessed to be able to live out my dream, which truly would not be at all possible without all of you. It also wouldnāt be possible without those that have stood in my corner, encouraging me to keep pushing.
When I began posting interviews to YouTube about a year and a half ago, I quickly realized how special that decision was. The community of people here is so great. Iām thrilled youāve all decided to be a part of it too.
For those that donāt know, I started out in this business at 15 years old. I was a kid from Virginia that had zero connections, not a lot of money, and a dream. When I was given a shot to write for a sports site covering NASCAR at 15, I was over the moon.
Then, when I was given a shot to interview the stars of NASCAR at just 17 as credentialed media, my life changed forever.
Now, years later, I still have that same drive, determination, and dream to achieve even more. So excited youāre along for the ride!

For those that may not have seen my Twitter post:
Yesterday, I received the worst call in my life.
I was told my father had taken his life.
The hurt from this is unlike anything Iāve ever gone through. He was the strongest man Iāve ever known. Heād gone through so much. He wasnāt perfect but he was my Dad. Every piece of me will miss him for as long as I live.
As a result of this awful news, I will not be going to Phoenix this weekend.
Instead, I will be back home where I grew up in Virginia, celebrating the life of a man we all loved so much.
Thank you in advance for the good thoughts and prayers you send to me and my family. Please, keep them coming over the next number of days and weeks.
Rest easy, Dad. We will never forget you. ā¤ļø
(My Dad spent his life working on the water. This is the sunset from last night. He adored the sunrise and sunset over the water. Hearing the peaceful waves crash along the shore is where I feel him the most. I know now he is at just as much peace as the waves.)

Iāve made it to Nashville!
Thank you all for sticking around while I was away the past two weeks.
My grandmother is doing the best she can in her recovery.
Excited for a great weekend! āļø
Hey everyone, just a quick update on this weekend:
Sadly, there won't be any post-race content from Sonoma tonight and likely not in the coming few days either.
My elderly grandmother took a fall a few days ago and has been in a Georgia hospital with various issues (including a severely fractured hip and an enlarged heart) since. I had to drop everything and bring my mother down here to be with her. That being said, things have been hectic and obviously, I wasn't at the race and have no time to edit anything I can pull from it.
I'd appreciate any good thoughts and prayers that you can send as my grandmother will undergo surgery tomorrow. She's a fighter, but anyone of her age and condition is very high risk.
I look forward to being in Nashville when racing returns after our one off-weekend. Thank you all for your understanding and any well wishes.

Tate won last season's race at Talladega Superspeedway in a wild fashion, wrecking across the line.
